Young Illustrator and Storytelling (Grade 1-3)
The Art of Storytelling is a unique class that implements read-aloud Stories to provide unique inspiration for art-making! Throughout, students learn how to visualize and illustrate their own unique ideas based on the plot, genre, action, character traits, and emotions. This class is distinctive so young beginners can practice their reading, writing, and speaking skills as well as their drawing and creativity. Teachers do live demos instructing how to create all kinds of complex forms with simple shapes, and show how to neatly render with control using watercolor paints, colored pencils and more!

Goals:
- Students will gain a wide knowledge and appreciation for different types of artwork. They will work on refining their technical skill as well as understanding concepts such as composition, and perspective. Students will be able to share their opinion in a respectful and spirited way.
