Fine Art Portfolio Foundation + International Competition (Grade 6-10, Adult)
This class is combined with two topics: Fine Art Portfolio Foundation and Advanced International Competition. Artists have a choice between the two.
Fine Art Portfolio Foundation focuses on immersing students into a creative and challenging environment, where they can learn how to properly use and supplement their art materials while implementing good craftsmanship.
This classes objective is to support and train the fundamentals of art making, such as color theory and the principles of design. Each student will work to complete the fundamental skills and projects they will need for the building blocks of their portfolio.
Prerequisite for Advanced Fine Art Portfolio

Advanced International Competition is an opportunity for students to learn the step, requirements, and processes that goes into applying and entering national, regional, and international art competitions. Students will be supported to develop unique concepts and images based upon prompted themes from multiple organizations.
This class will help students establish time management skills, read contest rules carefully, and properly format their work for presentation to the judges.
