Digital Intense Design Media Training (OCSA Prep) & 3D Modeling + 3D Printing (Grades 5th-8th)

The OCSA Prep class helps students develop essential design skills and prepares them for the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Design program. Students will work on creating a strong portfolio, exploring various design disciplines, and building their creative abilities. Through hands-on projects and expert feedback, they’ll refine their skills for the OCSA design audition.

Course Objectives & Skills:

• Develop a strong and cohesive portfolio tailored for OCSA Design program

• Gain proficiency in key design principles, including composition, color theory, and typography

• Explore various design disciplines such as graphic design, product design, and environmental design

• Enhance creative problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities

• Practice effective communication and presentation of design ideas

• Receive expert feedback to refine technical skills and creativity for the OCSA audition

• Strengthen time management and project completion skills to meet deadlines
