Digital Art Portfolio: Prerequisites, Competition, Supplemental/Major Based (Grades 7th+)

Portfolio Fundamental (Digital Art) focuses on developing the essential skills required to create a successful digital art portfolio. Students will learn to effectively use digital platforms and implement high-quality rendering techniques. This course aims to train students in the fundamentals of digital art, including design principles, composition, and color theory. Students will work on open-ended prompts that encourage personal identity development and help build the foundation for their portfolio.

Supplemental/Major Base Portfolio (Digital Art) is an advanced-level course designed to help students expand and refine their digital art portfolios. Building on the foundational skills from the Portfolio Fundamentals (Digital Art) course, this class focuses on more complex and specialized topics, including digital installation, animation, concept art, illustration, environment and landscape design, 3D design, digital painting, self-expression, and photogrammetry.
